通過動力裝置使高壓柱塞泵產(chǎn)生高壓水，高壓水通過精密控制的噴嘴系統(tǒng)噴射而出，形成高速射流。當高速射流沖擊到工件表面時，如果壁面存在毛刺，毛刺根部將產(chǎn)生較大的局部應力，從而使毛刺在射流沖擊作用下從工件本體上脫落，達到去毛刺的目的。同時，高壓水射流也能將工件表面的污垢剝離、沖走，實現(xiàn)清洗功能。此外，一些高壓去毛刺清洗機還可能配備數(shù)控系統(tǒng)、自動清洗系統(tǒng)、機器視覺及數(shù)字圖像處理技術等，以實現(xiàn)高精度的孔位探測、導引控制和自動化操作。
